Friday, March 28th, 2008When Ryan and I met Kelly for the first time we knew that she was going to shine on the other side of the camera. She has truly honest expressions. She has one of those smiles that every part of her face participates in. She certainly did not disappoint us in any way. Not only did she look stunning on her big day, she brought that great smile and laughter. Doug and Kelly, wish I could have been there with my husband to capture your wedding, but Ryan and Amy did an amazing job and it is my pleasure to go through the footage to find some great moments to preview!
I am currently on maternity leave as we are only weeks away from meeting our second child, Bennett. We were blessed by the talents of Amy Martin, a photographer friend from Charlotte, North Carolina. She is not only one of the easiest people to work with but has an incredible eye. Thank you so much Amy for making the trip up here and for filling in for me!

Lydia Grace
Thursday, March 20th, 2008At just a month old, little Lydia Grace is full of expression and sweetness. I could not get over how strong her neck was. She gave us some classic infant faces. She was not feeling like a photo shoot so we had to default to the pacifier quite a bit to calm the emotions brewing under the surface. I just don’t get it, what is so hard about being taken out of your nice warm clothes and put on a cold backdrop that is so hard to adjust to? She was a good sport really!
