Meet Bride of the Year….Amy Canne Longo

When Ryan and I booked Amy and Derek’s May wedding a few months ago, we didn’t realize she was in the running for Bride of the Year for the Central Virginia Bridal Guide. Lo and behold, she won! Not only does she get some great prizes, she is also going to be one of the feature articles for the magazine due out in May.
Tuesday, we headed downtown to the historic district to take some engagement shots. What a fun couple! They have a great natural chemistry in front of the camera that translated into each shot. I LOVE her gorgeous red hair, what an awesome pop of color in each frame.
Amy and Derek, your love and friendship is undeniable. We are so excited to photograph your wedding in May.
These are just a few of our favorites.
We think Derek is a cross between Bruce Willis and Kevin James.
Look at Ryan’s dedication to getting “the shot”…risking life and limb. What can we say?
Totally worth it, look at those blue eyes shining.

These are SO GREAT!Now we are going to have to deal with Derek asking for autographs….oh well, small price to pay! We love Amy and Derek and we can’t wait for the big day!
