Sarah and Brett….so happy together

I met Sarah when she was in 7th grade and I was her youth group leader. Fast forward ten years and now I am looking at the adult version of her. Although Sarah has an incredibly youthful face, she is a successful nurse and happily engaged to the vivacious Brett.
When we got the call that Sarah was planning an August wedding and she needed “the works” from Kellan Studios..engagement, bridal and wedding coverage….we jumped on it. It is so fun to photograph people you have so much history with.
Brett and Sarah were an absolute blast to shoot. They have so much energy and expression together. We ended up driving into the country to an abandoned house I remembered seeing years ago. Fingers crossed that it was still there. Jackpot….right where I remembered it.
So besides being on tick and snake alert in the tall grass, we had the most relaxed shoot in a long time. Enjoy our favorite moments.
This picture cracks me up. It looks like they have broken legs, hilarious.

This man adores my baby girl. I am thrilled that they have found each other and wish them every tiny happiness that God can shine upon them. O.K., yes they do look 12 years old, but both have a mix of maturity and hilarity that shines, even in these pictures. Did you catch their prized vehicle in the background? New life, new wheels, new city, new jobs - what an amazing adventure they are starting!!! Pray them along. Look out Colorado - here come the Almquists!!!
