Rachel and Danny : The Mill at Fine Creek
posted by Kelly
We normally don’t make a habit of photography weddings having never met the bride or groom in person, but circumstances forced us into that scenario over the weekend. Rachel and Danny were referred to us by one of the first brides we had ever had the privilege of photographing.
Rachel and Danny were so easy to work with, it really made Joe’s and my job a piece of cake!
They were married at the beautiful Mill at Fine Creek in Powhatan, Virginia. If you live in this area, I would definitely check this place out, it is beautiful!
Here are a few shots from a BLAZING HOT!! Saturday…
I can’t put my finger on it as to why it is, but this is one of my all-time favorites.
Rachel’s dad walking her down to the altar.
A couple shots from the first dance
After a few reception formalities were out of the way, we took Rachel and Danny down to the creek that runs through the property for a romantic private portrait session.
Danny had had a plan for the garter removal. While removing Rachel’s garter, out came an inflatable guitar, which he then proceeded to serenade Rachel to the stylings of AC/DC’s “Back in Black”. I present the following evidence…
I am not sure what was more amazing, the fact that she walked out with the guitar blown up under her dress and no one noticed or the fact he pulled it off and entertained the crowd?
We do know that he went and scared the children!
And off into a new life together…
Danny and Rachel, we had a ton of fun hanging out with you guys. Enjoy your honeymoon in St. Lucia!
