Happy Birthoween!

Birtho-what? Chloe had her day in paradise today. We bought her Halloween costume last night, which was presented to her this morning. A princess she shall be. I wasn’t sure how she would react to a big, itchy dress and wanted to make sure she broke it in before Halloween. She wore it around all day, very proud of her new grandiose look. Lo and behold, an early birthday gift arrived for Chloe this afternoon. She is just three weeks away from her second birthday. TWO!!!! I will spare you a sappy lament about how quickly my baby grew into my adorable, quirky, funny, and sweet little Chloe. Aunt Meridyth hit a homerun with her gifts to Chloe. THANK YOU MERI!!!
All I can say is I was just as psyched about her gifts and costume as she was. I have patiently been waiting for the “dress up” stage. This is why God gave us a little girl, not only does she have a killer wardrobe and a massive head of hair for me to play with…she is now entering the age of obnoxiously cheap jewlry, plastic high heels, feather boas, and glittery dresses. So I wanted to share a little glimpse into Chloe’s “Birthoween”.
A ballerina puzzle….SCORE…she LOVES puzzles.
Meridyth, we don’t know if we should high five you or smack you. She would not stop blowing on the recorder. So definitely a winner for us, but I failed to see where you included earplugs for us.
New hat, which lasted .095730972 seconds on her head. I can see a major showdown this fall/winter to get her to wear hats.
Still blowing the recorder
The whole kitten caboodle. New dress and books too!
She was in the zone. This kid prefers books over any other toy in the world.
So if you weren’t blinded by the Mardi Gras of colors in your face, hopefully you saw a little girls paradise of a morning.

SOOOOO SWEET AND CUTE!!!
LOVE IT!
Ya know what is funny….I have never dreamed about playing dress up with my future daughter or doing her hair….all that stuff makes me nervous…. Like, all those costumes and fake jewelry…..BUT I still REALLY REALLY WANT a little GIRL!!! Costumes and godly jewelry and all.
I’ll send her to your house for dress up. :)
