Baxter Family
posted by Kelly
I met Beth Baxter at a tradeshow last spring. Not only does she makes some of the yummiest treats in town, she is one of the sweetest people I have met in a long time. She is the owner and genius baker behind Taste Selects Confectionery. Beth and I met for coffee a few months ago and became instant girlfriends. I believe the word “cackle” would describe the laughs coming from our booth. By the end of the meeting I “convinced” Beth that her life would not be complete without some Kellan Studios photos on her wall and she must use us for some family photos….whose the sucker now Beth????
We met up with Beth and her beautiful family on a cool fall evening to capture them being…well…the Baxter’s!
Many people ask us about our family sessions. This is a perfect example of how Ryan and I like to “un”structure our shoots. We love for you to play as a family in whatever setting helps your kids feel at ease. Football at the park was a great fit for the Baxter’s to get their game faces on and have some fun.
Here are some of our favorite shots of the day.
There were these cool lime green pods all over the ground.
Even nature gave us the thumbs up!
Don’t let his calm demeanor fool you.
This was mainly the face he was determined to interject into all the photos.
can you feel the love?
Givin some ‘tude.
GAME TIME!!! Bring it!
We then headed down the road to Magnolia Foods for what else…..coffee!
and some sweets.
This sign could not be more appropriate!
Later Baxter Family….you guys rock!

Just thought I’d let you know those “pods” look like hedge balls or hedge apples to me. They supposedly keep bugs away. Reminded me of helping my mom put one in every corner of the basement of our house when I was little.
