One last family hurrah

This week marks a milestone for Ryan’s family. His brother, Joe, will be getting married to the most wonderful girl, Joanna, on Saturday. Family and friends have started arriving to Virginia in preparation. We played host to Ryan’s sister, Meridyth, husband Pat and son Caleb for the last four days coming in from California. It was great to see the cousins getting to play together and visit as a family. We head to DC tomorrow to help set up and celebrate! We are VERY much looking forward to attending a wedding where we can relax and have minimal responsibility . We shall dine and dance….oh yes there will be dancing! Lots of photos coming early next week.
We have three sessions next weekend so we can blow the dust off this blog and get her revved up for spring….yeah! We are ready to jump in with both feet and start dazzling you with some amazing couples we have been blessed with this year.
Enjoy some photos from our trip to the local airstrip where Ryan’s mom works. The kids loved looking at the planes and running around despite the fact it was FREEZING out!

These next three pictures are the best we could do to get Chloe and Caleb to take a picture together. They would not engage with each other nor the camera. You just had to sit them close together and hope for the best before they scrambled away.

Very excited about the airplane coming in. I swear I am not picking my nose, I thought I was out of the frame. Always assume you are in the frame when a camera is near by.

hahaha! i love these shots! amazing! and more than you picking your nose, i wanna point out ryan’s ‘cool hand’ in the picture where he’s making bennett laugh. enough said. :)

oh and toddlers are SO HARD to shoot. I get nervous when someone asks me to photograph their 2 year old!!! (I can barely get a good pictures of my little guy!)
During one toddler shoot I had awhile back, the little guy knocked down my backdrop 3 times!!!!
