Hillary and Josh-Wed 5.16.09 Part I

Ryan met Hillary and Josh last summer at Brett and Sarah’s wedding in Baltimore. I am pretty sure that same night we received and inquiry from Hillary excited to see if we would be available for their May nuptials. Fast forward to spring 2009. We got to spend an evening hanging out with Josh and Hillary while shooting their engagement session learning more about their relationship and love for the Red Sox…major bonus points! Ryan and I made the trek over to Petersburg, VA a few weeks ago to reunite with Sarah and Brett but more importantly document Hillary and Josh’s big day. What an awesome bridal party. We had SOOO much fun starting with our morning in the beauty parlor while the ladies “got their hair did”!
I am obviously working hard.
How cute are these ladies? They tried hard to keep their noses in their magazines but we all knew they loved listening to the girls cackling about the salon.
Time to set up for the reception.
Hillary, it’s time to put on that pretty wedding dress, how do you feel about that?

These are AMAZING! I love the vibrant colours she chose! Weddings are like a zillion times cooler now than when I got married (7 yrs ago). There are just so many more fun things to choose from and you guys captured their style and personalities so well.
PS: Kelly, the part of my heart that’s been waiting for an email from you has shrivelled up like my post-pregnancy boobies.

These pictures are great! I’m glad I got to meet you guys that weekend. Still looking forward to the pic of that incredibly good looking guy in the blue dress shirt and tie that kept the party going at the reception. (I’m that guy)
