Style, style, style….dripping, oozing, wonderful style! Molly is my GIRL! When she showed up with these shoes and this hat…..I knew this was going to be a FANTASTIC wedding! Chris and Molly are truly one of the sweetest couples we have had the privilege to work with.
In fact, her hat was just one of four accessories of the night! By far, her best accessory….her most amazing smile and contagious laugh! She has a gift of putting everyone at ease around her.
I’m getting ahead of myself.
We actually met Molly in the Lynchburg tradeshow circuit last spring. It may have been sheer pity that they booked us because the last time I saw Molly, before her actual wedding day, was April of last year just two weeks before I popped Bennett out. I was swollen and miserably pregnant and yet Molly, Chris and Molly’s parents seemed to think that we were the perfect fit for Molly’s big day. I couldn’t agree more. Their wedding day also happened to be my 33rd b-day…..I like to think the shoes and hat were a gift for me!
Molly’s grandmother sewed this patch inside her wedding dress. What a great personal touch.
Can we take another moment of silence for Molly’s bridesmaid shoes? Love, love, love….I know, predictable of me.
Time for the gentlemen to strut their stuff
We were told the sunglasses were a Chris trademark so the guys broke them out for a few shots.
Some solo shots of our smokin bride!
We headed over to VMI (Virginia Military Institute) campus for a FABULOUS reception at Moody Hall. Have I mentioned how much I love the town of Lexington? One of my favorite Virginia cities…charming, quaint, adorable, pristine!
Now it is time for THE hat to make it’s debut.
A mysterious groomsmen got in on the hat action.
I would like to note that we did not ask the bridal party to hold hands. They exercised free will and this was also WAY into the reception so everyone was feeling a bit “jolly”. This picture makes me laugh.
Molly and Chris had a photo booth during the reception which was a lot of fun.
We jumped in on the fun.
Towards the end of the evening an ice cream bar was set up to refresh everyone with some sugary goodness.
The sweet getaway car.
Molly and Chris, we wish you nothing but joy and happiness as you begin your journey as husband and wife. You were a DELIGHT to spend the day with. Your family and friends could do nothing but sing your praises all night long. It was wonderful to bear witness to your love and friendship. Blessings.
