Enjoy the story of Jill and Chris’s engagement, a “Stitch in Time”.
“Chris takes his girlfriend, Jill, to his family’s farm for what seems to be a quiet Sunday lunch with family….something they do most every week. It was a tradition in their family every year at Christmastime that Chris’s parents would make intricate webs of yarn for the children to follow throughout the house… under chairs, over table tops, through doorways…to a special gift they would find at the end of the yarn. Chris has adapted that tradition for his proposal for Jill. Along the strand of yarn he has tied pieces of memorabilia- pictures from their trip to Paris last year, a concert ticket, a hand written love note…at the end of the yarn our groom waits for his fiance to be, with a ring. Since they just had lunch at home Chris packs sweets and hot apple cider (it’s beginning to get chilly outside) to enjoy after the proposal. Of course, he has brought her flowers too….”
