Sarah and Kenny Married~ Ocean City, NJ: PART 2
posted by Kelly
I am blown away by how many people have vacationed in Ocean City in their lifetime. I feel like we stumbled on a not so hidden jewel of the east coast! We are about to hit the meat and potatoes of the day on PART 2. Let’s get started shall we?
First let’s drink in the ladies! Sarah’s eyes are mesmerizing!
Greek, beach goddesses. The blue orchids almost don’t look real, but they are.
Their bouquets were set into large seashells….so fun!
The gentlemen were more than putting out the vibe that day.
The guys all sported a pair of Macbeth’s which Kenny was very proud of.
A sneak peek of the reception area before heading to the ceremony. The crisp, fresh blue and yellow theme prevailed with some hints of “beachiness” thrown in.
Man and Matron of Honor.
Ceremony time. I was literally amazed at how many people lined the boardwalk to watch the whole ceremony as well as everybody sunbathing around the ceremony site turning their beach chairs to fully watch the wedding. Call me modest, but I don’t think I want to be in a bikini watching a wedding being photographed. People kill me sometimes.
Proud mama of the bride.
A requested jumping shot from the lively bridal party.
Before we move on to the reception….I have to give this ring shot it’s own place of honor because it is a mixture of super sweet and just plain hilarious. Kenny’s uncle presented him with this framed “note” that Kenny wrote back in 1998 which makes him a 12 year old boy. In case you can’t decipher years of pencil rubbing together it says, “I will never date a girl. Uncle Gary says I will. 1/25/98 —Kenny Smith”
Father/daughter dance…always so sweet.
The kids were KILLING IT on the dance floor.
We snuck back outside right at sunset which rapidly disappeared before our very eyes.
These kids wanted to jump in a photo. Why? I don’t know..but we obliged.
Back inside for toasts and cake.
Do you love our sweet high-tech lighting set up. A.K.A. Ryan holding a flash on a stick! Haha…had to put that one in there. Looking good in that bow tie Portnoy!
What started out as a sweet cake cutting, got ugly fast!
Ahhhh amore! Seriously, such a FUNNNNNNN wedding. Awesome people, awesome city, awesome night. Kenny and Sarah, thank you for hosting us that weekend and letting us be such a huge part of your big day. We love you guys! Many blessings on your new marriage.
