Kelly and Brandon Married~ Charles City, VA: PART 2

posted by Kelly

Left you hanging like a bad high five! Up top…down low…too slow! Actually, we got cracking on some house projects that spiraled into other projects and our daughter turned FOUR this week…..so blogging got tossed to the wayside for Portnoy crazy week.

Thank you for your patience…back to the good stuff. Part 2 of Kelly and Brandon’s creamy dreamy fall wedding. The meat and potatoes of the day!

Scroll, scroll, scroll away…..

Anyone can walk down the aisle to a piano, organ or string quartet…but have you heard the hammered dulcimer played? Absolutely mesmerizing to watch and of course hauntingly beautiful to hear.

Time to move to the reception area for some cocktails, lawn games and a few more stolen moments with Brandon and Kelly before sunset.

I love these little baskets of blankets in the tent for guests to use to keep warm after sunset.

Had to share this series of dance moves by our most frequented wedding guest of the year…Jorge! We met him back in May at Sylvette and Nate’s wedding in Manassas and low and behold..he knows Brandon too. Brother can bust a move on the dance floor.

What an awesome wedding. . Makes me wish I had been there..
and that is saying a lot since they are complete strangers :)! Wish I had thought to use a hammered dulcimer… What an awesome idea! Love the pictures on the tree stump and the dancing shots are always a favorite. She’s a beautiful Bride :)

Great work!

It was really special to have Tim play at the wedding. He had also played at our wedding 28 years earlier. Here is a link to his web site
