Natalia’s 14th birthday shoot
Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008We were blessed with a niece who is amazingly godly, sweet, kind and good hearted. Not only is her character impeccable, she is absolutely gorgeous! She is completely oblivious to her good looks which makes her all the more endearing.
Ryan and I decided last year that we would start giving her a photoshoot for her birthday present each year. What else could a teenage girl want? Although her birthday is in April, we didn’t get a chance to squeeze it in until last weekend. Whoops! That’s what having another baby and being in wedding season will get you.
I cannot believe she is only 14. When she smiles I see a teenager, but when she looks dead into the camera I see a young woman. She is stunning and let me tell you…she can turn it on for the camera; she just gets it! I can’t imagine looking this beautiful at 14. You don’t even want to see a picture of me. Let’s just say Aqua Net and I were BFF. I grew up in upstate NY and my hair easily added four more inches to my height. Hey, it was 1990! You were only as cool as the width of your hair.
This is our beautiful Natalia.
Grahl Family
Saturday, August 9th, 2008You could say the twenties and thirties are peppered with two cyclical events….weddings and babies! We are no exception to the rule. We just celebrated our three anniversary and have already logged two kiddos! Life is full and busy.
My friends seem to be taking the verse “be fruitful and multiply” very seriously. In a matter of 4 months 9 babies have been born…whewwwww! That’s a lot of showers and gifts. I decided this year that my main gift would be to do a family session with each girlfriend. Easier said than done while juggling my two little ones and being in wedding season, but I managed to squeeze in a session last week with my friend Candace to celebrate the birth of her second son, Max.
We all hung out in his adorable nursery and I just let them have fun with each other.
Max peeling those sleepy eyes open
Candace said this is an accurate picture of motherhood. One crying and the other about to get into something. You just have to laugh!
Behold…a son
Beautiful mama
Candace laughs…A LOT!
That’s a wrap!
Lamonte Family
Saturday, November 10th, 2007I tell you, being a photographer is hard work especially when you get a call from a family that looks like this:
and then they had a baby that looks like this:
I mean what an unfortunate family. We are not miracle workers people!
Actually, this is the beautiful Lamonte family who wanted some pictures for Christmas presents and hired Ryan and I to capture their ridiculously cute family. It was such an awesome fall day. The temperature was just perfect.
They have such a great chemistry in the pictures. That makes our job 100% easier to let people just be themselves together.
Can you stand how cute they are???? Oh man and they are literally like the nicest people on the face of the earth. They came to the shoot with some fall candles and a thank you note for us. So thoughtful!!! Okay, now here is some Abby solo shots. She has AWESOME facial expressions and those eyes!
This lip curl made me laugh!
Let’s rap this up with some family shots.
as luck would have it, Ryan got an awesome sundown silhouette shot as the last frame of the day.
Bragg Family and Vacation
Thursday, October 25th, 2007Well there is nothing better than combining a vacation with seeing your best friend. We met the Bragg’s down in beautiful Sky Valley, Georgia for a few days of rest and fun. No matter how foggy or rainy it wasn’t enough to stop us from going out and enjoying the amazing fall foliage and some fishing. Here are a few of our highlights from our trip and some family photos that were taken of the silly and adorable Bragg children.
It is just a shame how not good looking this family is….KIDDING!
These kids just don’t know how to have fun.
A classic jumping picture
Emory showing off for the camera.
It is nearly impossible to get a shot where all kids cooperate.
A few shots from Ryan’s fishing expedition with the kids.
These girls have the best curls!!!
And the crew all “Fished Out”….13 fish in all. Look at those glorious leaves above….I love fall!
